Casa Contenta, East Cape

Narrative

Located in Las Brisas, north of Los Barriles, Casa Contenta was designed around one thing: the view. Twelve-foot ceilings and more than 20 feet of glass dissolve the line between inside and out, opening the great room to a shaded terrace and a heated infinity-edge pool and spa that appear to pour straight into the Sea of Cortez.

Inside, the attention to detail is evident throughout. Mexican travertine floors, Italian porcelain countertops and backsplash, custom Parota woodwork, and a gas fireplace bring warmth and character to the open living spaces. The kitchen is equipped with a six-burner Wolf range, professional appliances, and a walk-in pantry, equally suited for entertaining or everyday living.

All three bedrooms enjoy views of the Sea of Cortez, each with its own ensuite bathroom. The spacious primary suite offers a comfortable private escape, while a guest bedroom opens directly onto its own terrace. Outdoor living extends well beyond the infinity pool.

A rooftop deck with a shaded pergola offers sweeping views toward Punta Pescadero and Lighthouse Point. Below, landscaped grounds with more than 20 mature citrus trees, a bocce court, and generous terraces provide plenty of space to entertain or simply enjoy the Baja lifestyle. Casa Contenta is as thoughtfully built as it is designed.

Fourteen-inch clay block walls finished with Italian clay plaster provide excellent thermal insulation, while hurricane-rated glass and custom storm shutters add protection. Solar power, an automatic whole-home generator, extensive water storage, and a complete water purification system add reliability and peace of mind. Two oversized garages accommodate boats with T-tops, complemented by a dedicated fish-cleaning station, private gym, and ample additional parking.

Just minutes from the beaches, restaurants, and world-class fishing. Casa Contenta brings together beautiful architecture, quality craftsmanship, and the kind of indoor-outdoor living that makes the East Cape special.
