Diamante sits six miles northwest of downtown Cabo San Lucas along the Pacific coast, accessed via Boulevard Diamante off the main highway. The Pacific-facing position is Diamante's defining geographic attribute: the ocean here behaves differently from the sheltered Sea of Cortez side, with larger swells, stronger breezes, and more dramatic coastal terrain. The community's 1.5-mile beachfront is active and scenic rather than calm-water swimmable, and the Crystal Lagoon exists in part to provide the resort-quality aquatic experience the Pacific surf cannot. Los Cabos International Airport is approximately 35 to 40 minutes by car. The community is fully gated with 24-hour security and has its own internal road and golf cart network connecting the residential neighborhoods to the courses and amenities.
