Puerto Los Cabos

Puerto Los Cabos is a 2,000-acre master-planned resort and residential community developed by Grupo Questro on the northeastern edge of San José del Cabo, where the city meets the Sea of Cortez and the beginning of the East Cape corridor. The community is anchored by Zadún, the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Mexico, a full-service marina, and 27 holes of championship golf designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus. It is the largest and most comprehensively amenitized development in San José del Cabo, and one of the most ambitious resort-residential addresses in the Los Cabos luxury real estate market.

Lifestyle

Puerto Los Cabos Golf Club's 27 holes are distributed across three courses designed by Greg Norman and Jack Nicklaus, carved into rolling desert foothills with the Sierra de la Laguna Mountains framing the inland side and the Sea of Cortez defining the coastal edge. The courses feature elevation changes, large bunkers, and contoured greens that reward strategic play while delivering one of the most visually compelling settings of any golf community in Los Cabos. Zadún, the first Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Mexico, brings an international standard of cultural immersion and service to the community: 115 suites and villas designed by Mexican artisans, the Sensei wellness program, and the Jean-Michel Cousteau Ambassadors of the Environment offering naturalist-led experiences in the Sea of Cortez. The full-service marina, private beach clubs, a 12-acre botanical and sculpture park, and Sunday brunches and wine tastings give Puerto Los Cabos a social and recreational calendar that sustains genuine year-round resident engagement.

Access & Setting

Puerto Los Cabos sits on the northeastern edge of San José del Cabo, immediately adjacent to the historic downtown and positioned at the gateway to the East Cape. Downtown San José del Cabo's art district, restaurants, and colonial architecture are five minutes by car. Los Cabos International Airport is approximately 15 to 20 minutes away, giving the community one of the shortest airport transfers of any major resort residential development in the region. The community fronts the Sea of Cortez with beach access across multiple points within the 2,000-acre site, and the marina provides direct boat access to some of the most productive fishing and diving waters on the Baja Peninsula. The development is fully gated with 24-hour security, and its proximity to San José del Cabo means day-to-day services, medical care, and banking are within a short drive without navigating the full Corridor.

Amenities & Buyer Fit

The amenity program spans the 27-hole golf club, the full-service marina, private beach clubs, Zadún's Sensei wellness center, a 12-acre botanical park, racquet facilities, and the complete Ritz-Carlton Reserve hospitality infrastructure. The marina gives Puerto Los Cabos an amenity dimension that no other San José del Cabo community can offer: direct boating access and a social anchor for fishing, cruising, and water sports. Three residential neighborhoods define the ownership landscape. Fundadores is the community's largest and most established address, with 602 MLS records spanning custom villas, single-family estates, and condominiums. Residents have exclusive access to a private beach club on some of the most pristine sands in the area, the same beach that fronted the original Puerto Los Cabos vision. El Zalate offers an elevated estate tier, with larger lots and homes at the upper end of the community's price range. The Enclaves at Zadún delivers the Ritz-Carlton Reserve branded residences, with full hotel amenity access and the most international ownership profile in the development.
