The Pacific zone is accessed via Highway 19 — approximately one hour from Cabo San Lucas to Todos Santos. Diamante and Rancho San Lucas at the southern end sit 30 to 40 minutes from Los Cabos International Airport. Cerritos, Pescadero, and Todos Santos run 45 to 70 minutes from the airport — close enough for practical daily use, far enough to feel genuinely removed from resort density. The Pacific coast runs cooler and breezier than the Sea of Cortez side, often eliminating the need for air conditioning even in summer. The agricultural tradition of the Todos Santos valley — where mangoes, avocados, and sugarcane have grown for centuries — underpins a local food culture that has become some of the finest farm-to-table dining in Baja California Sur.
